What an extraordinary and special treat!! We have a special yarn dye class on May 30th, from 9am-4pm. All supplies are included with one cost. You will enjoy this time learning from our expert, Brandy Bohman.
Brandy Bohman was introduced to spinning in 2014 when a local yarn shop offered a 4 hr class. Who knew what rabbit hole that would turn into?! After many more workshops for education, and a lot of practice, Brandy mastered the art of spinning. She also has a passion for sharing her talent and teach the information to others.
After a few years of spinning practice with commercially prepared fibers, Brandy decided to learn how to do this with natural fibers and she now starts with fleece or fur straight off the animal. Brandy has spent the time to learn and has mastered the art of hand skirting, washing, picking, combing or carding, blending, spinning and occasionally dying. Now she is here to teach you.
A spinning and dye class is an all day event. All the materials are provided for each person that enters.
Brandy continues her fiber and spinning education through Olds College in Canada where she is currently working on Master Spinning Level 3. She teaches through a local yarn store in Palmyra, Wisconsin called Hook & Shuttle. Classes include spinning, fiber education, natural dying, and crocheting.
We welcome Brandy for a special event in fiber. Space in this class is limited to 15 attendees. This will fill up quickly. You may enter by contacting Brandy directly, or fill out the form and submit payment to reserve your spot.
