ENTRY FORMS
If you have entered before, you do not need to fill out the forms. Only fill out the goat form and enter your events.
Goat Form
First up is the Dairy Wether-Rama, beginning at 6:30pm on Thursday, May 30th, where Dairy wethers compete for a National Titles and Awards. At the end of the wethers, we will have a quick break and follow the wether show with the Junior Doe show.
Wether Championship Buckles!
Friday afternoon, beginning at 1pm, we will complete the Dairy Youth Fun Shows with the Senior Does.
There is a Showmanship Class, so be sure to come with your ‘A’ Game!
All shows have Grand and Reserve Buckles, banners, and the nicest ribbons we could possibly find. You do not have to be entered in the dairy youth goat camp to participate in the Dairy Youth Fun Shows. These shows are for all youth to enjoy and attend.
Please note the Pen Fee of $10 per pen. This is a fairgrounds fee. All pens must be cleaned upon departure. Exhibitors may show from their trailers. (You do not have to be penned in the barn)
Health papers from a licensed state veterinarian are required within 30 days of the show. All health papers are checked prior to unloading and at check in. Check in at the welcome tent on the North side of the swine pavilion at Gate 7. Maps on the information page.
ARRIVAL:Thursday: May 30, 8-11am or Friday, May 31, 8 am-Noon
DEPARTURE: Friday before 7 pm
Stalls must be cleaned before departing. Please be sure to throw away all trash and leave a clean pen.
You may show from your trailer. Pen Fee $10.00 (for any pens in use). Shavings for bedding (do not use hay or straw for bedding).
Youth up to 18 years old. All youth in need of assistance will have another youth help. Let us know if you need anything.
- All animals must be inspected prior to unloading.
- All breeds may enter. Classes will be determined by number of breed entries. Number of entries will dictate “All other Breed” classes.
- Junior and Senior Does only, no bucks.
- Wethers will be weighed
- All animals must have a scrapie tag, tattooed with a registration certificate, microchipped or other means of permanent identification and be listed on a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection. If the animal has a microchip as its permanent identification, the exhibitor is responsible for providing a microchip reader. Tattoos or other means of permanent identification will be checked with the registration papers at the time of check-in.
- Grooming is at the desire of the exhibitor. Please be responsible.
- No permanent physical changes may be made to the animals.
- The animal’s hair color may not be changed, artificially, into another color.
- Please bring your stock washed & clipped prior to the event.
- Any goat showing any pronounced defect or abnormality, such as a weak constitution, unthrifty condition, overshot jaw or undershot jaw, or abscesses, will be barred from showing.
- All goats must be free of clinical signs of an infectious or contagious disease.
- No drenching.
- No show halter leads with any sharp objects and/or cable halters (including cable leads) will be allowed.
- Style of showing is up to the exhibitor.
- Each exhibitor may enter as many does and wethers as they would like.
- Another youth must show if multiple animals in one class.
- No ownership rules.
Wethers, Junior Does, and Senior Does. No Bucks
Depending on entries, classes will be as close to ten head per class.
- Proper show attire
- No hats in the arena
- Phones off during judging.
Milking competitions are also educational and fun. Exhibitors milk their own animals, and it’s strictly a speed/quantity competition, or the judge will be asked to determine which milker uses the best techniques including cleanliness.
GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP IS A MUST. KINDNESS AND RESPECT IN ALL THINGS

GRAND AND RESERVE GRAND CHAMPIONS AND DIVISION CHAMPIONS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THEIR PHOTOS TAKEN WITH THE JUDGE, BY PEARL’S PICS, AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE SHOW.
ALL PENS MUST BE CLEANED PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.
