In 2024, Mackenzie is currently 13 years old.

I am the owner of Sky’s Heavenly Homestead Home of Divas & Me Dairy Goats. I mainly raise the breed Alpine, but this breeding season I will be adding another breed!

I started raising goats when I was 6, and fell in love with them. I found a mentor and after a couple years of leasing dairy goats to show, I started my herd of dairy goats, Divas & Me. I have been showing dairy goats in 4-H and with the American Dairy Goat Association for 6 years, with my first herd named Divas & Me kids hitting the ground in 2023.

I currently have 17 alpine goats, 9 mature does, 5 2023 kids, 2 wethers and a pending Champion alpine buck. I have done very well receiving many Champion and Grand Champion titles at ADGA and 4-H shows, as well as 2 Best In Shows, which is a the highest accolade one can obtain at an ADGA show.

I attended my first ADGA buck show this year and my buck won his Champion title, winning best of breed in 4 rings and reserve in the other 2 rings. He is my main herd sire.

I have been to many shows in the surrounding states and I have found an amazing love for all things dairy goats. This year I attending ADGA National Convention in Tulsa, OK where I attended classes all week, learning all about dairy goats. I was so proud of myself for placing 2nd in the National Dairy Goat Skill-a-thon!! I am attending my very first National Show where I hope to be able to place in showmanship.

Showmanship is something I am very passionate about. I love showing and competing against my friends in the dairy goat industry. I am so excited to share with the younger kids my knowledge and hope that I’m able to become an amazing mentor, like the ones I look up to now. I am part of the Dairy Youth Goat Camp Youth Team Leaders in 2024, as I have won the Youth Goat Camp Showmanship Championship two years in a row. Now it i time to teach others how to be successful also.
