Boer Goat Course 2024
The Boer Goat Course is about selection of the Boer Goat, in what makes the ‘Boer’ Goat what it is by phenotype. These aspects are important to keep the breed looking like the breed it is, easy to recognize by its large roman nose and predominant head, the large frame and footing, long, wide, and balanced.
All of these things are a small part to make the larger picture.
2024 is another great year to learn from Anton Ward, someone who carries on the tradition of teaching others how to select the Boer Goat as they do in South Africa.
Spend two days with Roger McSwain, Kathy Daves, and their assistant, Rico Zaldivar, learning more about the selection of goat stock and why certain aspects are important.
