Brianna Burton is a remarkable young individual whose dedication, expertise, and passion for agriculture, particularly in the realm of goat showing and showmanship, make her an exceptional role model and educational resource for youth aspiring to excel in similar fields. Her journey in the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) began at the tender age of four, when she made her debut in her first ADGA show, including participation in showmanship—a testament to her early commitment and natural affinity for the craft. That same year, one of her home-bred does achieved the prestigious honor of Best in Show at the Tulsa State Fair, marking the beginning of a highly successful career in goat showing that has only continued to flourish.

Brianna is an integral part of a family-operated herd of 80 goats, which she manages alongside her three sisters and parents. Her responsibilities include making informed breeding decisions and overseeing the care and development of goats at various stages of growth, from kids to mature does. This hands-on experience has provided her with a deep understanding of herd management, genetics, and the nuances of raising champion-quality goats. Alongside her family, Brianna travels extensively throughout the spring and summer months, competing in shows across Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, and Missouri, as well as at national shows in Kentucky, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Her dedication to the craft is evident in her numerous achievements, including multiple permanent champions among her does, as well as earning both champion status and milk stars.
While Brianna has achieved significant success in ADGA shows, her true passion lies in showmanship. She has devoted countless hours to honing her skills, learning from some of the most respected mentors in the industry. Her hard work and perseverance culminated in an extraordinary accomplishment in 2024, when she competed in seven showmanship classes and emerged as champion in each one. Additionally, she was honored as the Oklahoma Circuit Intermediate Champion Showman and the ADGA National Show Intermediate II Champion Showman, achieving a long-standing personal goal that reflects her unwavering dedication and talent.
Beyond her accomplishments in the show ring, Brianna is a well-rounded individual who excels in multiple areas of her life. She is a dedicated varsity soccer player, earning accolades such as Most Improved Player and the “SelfLess” award, a tribute to her late soccer coach. Academically, she is a straight-A student currently ranked third in her junior class of 152, demonstrating her commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom. Brianna is also actively involved in her community as the Vice President of her county 4H chapter and a member of her FFA chapter.
